Monoclonal Antibody Process Development

Monoclonal antibody production using scalable bioprocess systems
At Eppendorf, our aim is to empower your monoclonal antibody process development. We provide tools that help you accelerate process development by working in parallel, increasing turn-around, and leveraging the full potential of bioprocess data. We help scaling up your process from R&D to production while maintaining quality and yield. We pay attention to your specific challenges, and we work together with you to solve them. So come and talk to us, we are all ears.

Originally, for monoclonal antibody production mAb-producing cells (hybridomas) were generated by fusing immortal myeloma cells with antibody-producing B cells. Today, Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells are often used as an expression system. Antibody production in bacteria or yeast offers greater speed, however there are challenges associated with glycosylation. Find out more about bioprocessing methods for mAB generation in our ebook!
